With the support of artificial intelligence, activity planning is faster and on a new level!

During the last couple of weeks, we held six webinars, during which we learned how artificial intelligence can support early childhood education professionals and activity planning. The topic of artificial intelligence is increasingly on everyone's agenda in the field of education and teaching. Both in terms of work and free time, we have completely new opportunities to speed up, enhance, and expand our abilities to produce or do different things.

In the past few weeks alone, the largest Finnish newspaper, Helsingin Sanomat, and the national media company Ylen Uutiset have dozens of stories about artificial intelligence. We live in the middle of a substantial technological development, and we have the opportunity to influence what the future holds. Today, edited pictures, different chatbots, and different intelligence are part of the services we consume both in our free time and at work. We must participate in this discussion and development to the best of our ability. In this way, we ensure diverse technology that opens up opportunities.

In the webinars, we emphasized the growing role of artificial intelligence in supporting early childhood education, enabling more personalized teaching, and monitoring children's development. We also discussed how important it is in early childhood education to keep up with technology's development and influence the direction of the future.

So, what could using artificial intelligence in early childhood education mean? One option is Elina, the newest member of the TinyApp world. With Elina, educators can develop ideas and action models or create customized action plans that meet the children's individual needs and interests.

In the webinar, we explained how Elina was explicitly made for early childhood education, and one of its key features is to combine theory and practice, offering practical tips and insights into everyday life in early childhood education. Elina's customized approach and language skills enable it to serve a wide range of professionals in education and teaching. According to user feedback, both new and experienced early childhood education teachers, kindergarten managers, and others in the field can use Elina to plan, get inspiration, and support children's versatile learning and growth. Educators have found new ways to plan and implement early childhood education with the help of Elina.

At the end of the webinar, we reviewed how Elina can support early childhood education throughout the year, helping daycare centers and educators organize their activities and plan for the future. In our next blog post, you can read more about the annual clock and how Elina is utilized in different phases of the operational year.

Thanks to all the webinar participants! Together, let's ensure that early childhood education remains at the forefront of technological development, supporting children's versatile growth and learning and the development of educators' professional skills!
